The West of England Institute of Technology (WEIoT) is a collaborative partnership between regional education institutions and employers working together to address skills and drive technical education in region. By working together, we are raising awareness of Technical Education pathways and developing the skills needed to secure meaningful careers and support our region thrive.
We focus on 4 sectors which have been identified as being priority to enable economic growth in the region: Advanced Engineering, Health and Care & Life Sciences, Digital, Construction.
We are also committed to providing skills that support the governments aim of reaching Net Zero, this is more prevalent in the Advanced Engineering and Construction sectors where job roles directly contribute to achieving this goal. Together we are working with our employers to support with developing these skills through technical education pathways.
